Wanted Moody S31 Bilge Keel, wheel steering wanted

Might be wrong and someone with a bit more knowledge of S31 might answer but I dont think wheel steering was ever offered on an S31. Good luck.
 
Good morning
There were some boats on the final production run that had wheel steering.
It cut down the head room in the cabin.
I know of one boat that had wheel steering but was converted back to tiller.

My apologies looking at the Technical Specification document on this website, wheel was offered as an option.
 
Yes Bob I take your point about reducing the head room in the aft cabin. I have just found out that my mooring should take up to 33ft + so will repost looking for a 336!

There's a bilge keel 336 on boatshed Wales and a fin in Truro for sale by one of our members that looks really nice, Levant.
 
I agree, the engine on the Welsh one looks to be a retrofit not new.
I think there's one in Kent that has all sorts of teak decking etc name of Helga, that might be owned by one of our members also.
I've been looking for 336's or S31s but good ones are pretty rare.

Yes that was the issue with in the Welsh one it had a replacement second hand engine that just sounded a bit dodgy. I have been communicating with the Broker on Helga.. the teak decks are shot and have been partially removed so it’s a bit of a mess….. also hasn’t been used in a while so probably need a lot spending on it.. original engine, manual windlass etc…
