Non Boat Specific Using thread Prefixes

I've just enabled posters to this forum to use boat type thread prefixes if they wish to do so. As an example I have chosen one on this thread.

If you are interested in only one type of boat, using a thread prefix will alert members to your question quicker. Members do you think this is a good idea?

Yes very useful. Could the prefixes be made compulsory? Clearly there would have to be a "general" prefix.
