Hallo. I am thinking of buying an older modell Moody. It is a Moody 52 dc 1980 and my question is: Is there a balsa core in the deck? The reason for asking this question is that there is a poorly maintained teak deck on this boat and there is a big chance that water has penetrated through.
 
I think we are making an enquiry about the same bot.
Have you checked it out in real life.... what did you think of it ... looks a bit run down from the pictures.

Yes I have checked it and in my opinion the boat should probably be given away.

Thai is what I was afraid of. The broker is not to be trusted, when i purchased my current boat it was this broker that arranged the sale. I'm happy with the boat.... not the broker.
