For Sale Moody 376/37 Jib

Just kind of kicking tires here to see if there is any interest. I have a furling Jib for a 376/37 no sun cover. Lucas sail. it appears that the sail has NEVER been used.

it appears that the sail has lived a pampered life in the bag in a climate controlled environments . no mold no mildew no wear....

I have a hard time getting rid of things but I dont see myself using this since my current sail is a 30 year old 140 genoa.

I have the skills to add a UV cover, but and I just dont see myself down sizing to a smaller sail like this jib and spending time/money on a UV cover for it.

So what say the masses. Any interest

down side is that I'm in the states. I'll attach pics later...

Good morning Marc,
Sounds interesting. Would you have a wild guess of how to ship it to Europe (the EU, that is) and at which cost? Obviously the most cost effective way, economy over speed. It'd be for the next season anyway.

rained last night so I wasn't able to take the sail out and get measurements and pics. I'll fold up the sail a bit tighter and get a weight. I'll use Vlissingen to get a shipping quote once I have a weight and dimensions. I had a sewing machine machine shipped via DHL it was 75 lbs. from China to east coast USA it was a tik over 200 bucks, but that was 2 years ago.

A box would be 36x15x10 total weight 25lbs. My quick searches earlier showed wild ranges from 250 to 2500usd to ship. Now that I have an actual box size and weight I’ll see what I can an find.

Erik using US Postal service 3-5 business days 180 usd 6-10 days 150 USD fed ex, dhl and ups are between 500-1000 usd to ship

they don't offer anything but "fast " service.

Hey folks, I am bumping this thread.

I will be traveling to Plymouth for the annual meeting in a couple weeks. So I can bring it along as baggage. BA is charging 150 for an extra bag.

I’ll be flying to heathrow on the 24 and then renting a car departing on March 1
