Moody 38 (90s) Mast laying Moody 38 CC

I am negotiating the purchase of a Moody 38 CC built in 1994 and would have to lay the mast for the transfer. Is it possible to securely fasten it on board and carry it with me? Has anyone done this before and has any tips? Thank you

If you are able to carry the mast on deck, the video below may help with preparations whether by water or land.
However transporting the boat by land may involve limiting restrictions. Your transport company will advise.
