Having reluctantly sold Drifter, it's a logical next step that I can't justify hanging on to my trusty folding tender/exploring Seahopper sailing dinghy.
Whether folded on the foredeck or hanging from the Plastimo davits on the stern, the Seahopper ("Lighter" class) has made going ashore a much more pleasurable experience than either paddling or chugging with a standard "rubber duck".
It's a tight squeeze to assemble on the foredeck of an M31 but takes about the same time as inflating a 2.4m duckie, and it's far easier (and, let's face it, cooler) to row - or sail - ashore in a "proper" dinghy.
I'll be selling her on eBay shortly but wanted to offer her here first. Here are one or two pictures and a link to the full photo album, showing the different stages of assembly and both setups for the Gunter rig (with or without jib, using both mast step positions).
Brand new on the Seahopper website this setup would cost over £5,000 but I'd be happy with a fraction of that (something under £1,000) and am open to offers. I know a Moody owner will look after her properly!
